When I Became President

Before I became President, I was Vice President for Roosevelt. I could see how hard he worked, dealing with all these problems for example the atomic bomb and the difficulties with the Soviet Union. But then soon after I became President, all these problems were mine to solve. As I told the reporters that on April 12, 1945 when I became President,"I felt like the moon, the stars, and all the planets fell on me". It was an exciting moment, and I was the first president to receive over 24 million popular votes. It's really tough to be a president because I once said "Within the first few months, I discovered that being a President is like riding a tiger. A man has to keep on riding or be swallowed." Now like I said before It was tough being a President, especially when you have to deal with dropping the atomic bomb.
